Graphic Design x FCP ft. Little Box of Fragrances

We collaborated with 2nd year students studying Graphic Design, pitching our brand and packaging ideas for them to create a mock up. We created a booklet of our brand which I spoke about, here. Here are the results from our collaboration:

Whilst we did like the outcome of what the Graphic Design students gave us, we did not feel they would be suitable or appeal to our target consumer, the New Young Contemporary. We then took it upon ourselves to, "go back to the drawing room" and discussed ideas of what we envisioned the packaging to look like. Using Google SketchUp, Ruta created these draft designs:

We liked the uniqueness of the marble design the Graphic Design students created for our packaging as it linked to our brand's essence of individuality. To make the effect more suitable for our consumer I reworked the colours to make the shades softer and more pastel. On Illustrator, I then developed our packaging designs.

Although at first it was rather stressful when we decided to design our packaging ourselves, we were all thrilled with the results and it was a great learning experience which we felt mirrored moments that we may encounter in the future.
