MAC Créme Cup

As you've probably figured out by reading my blog I haven't really experimented and delved into the more high end make up, only really using the brands found in Boots and Superdrug. Back in August I got my first MAC lipstick in the shade Pink Plaid, a matte lipstick which I absolutely adore. I've been keen to try another MAC lipstick, after being so impressed and seeing how so many people raved about MAC.

During the awkward time in between Christmas and New Year - the days for lazying around in your onesie, eating turkey and chocolate to your heart's content - me and my mum went shopping, and I had a few lipsticks I wanted to swatch in MAC. One shade I've seen cropping up in so many make up collections was Créme Cup. This seemed to be one of the more basic out of the bunch, a lovely sweet pink that would suit most skin tones.

Eventually I asked a girl who worked there to apply it "properly" on my lips - and by this I mean not like my awful attempt to use one of their small applicators. I'm not one to rock a red lip or a deep purple lipstick on a daily basis, so I wanted another more subtle shade that I could wear everyday. Créme Cup seemed to tick these boxes and before I knew it I was walking out of House of Fraser clutching a small black MAC bag.

Créme Cup is a cremesheen lipstick which I'm finding a nice change from my matte lipstick. Due to the shade and finish I do find it easier to apply than Pink Plaid, as the formula is creamy and has a shine to it.

I absolutely love wearing this, and am sure I'm going to get a lot of wear out of it! What's your favourite MAC lip product?

xXx
