MAKE UP PRODUCTS I USE EVERYDAY
I thought a post on my current make up routine was much needed as it's been a fair while to say the least, and I have been introduced to some great products during this time.
MAC Studio Fix Fluid mixed with Revlon Photoready Skinlights face illuminator in Pink Rose
Adding the Skinlights to my foundation gives a lovely fresh glow, particularly helpful when you're running around on very little sleep - which I have somehow had a fair share of practice at over the past year.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Light
Everybody's holy grail concealer. This stuff has been made by angels and sent from heaven to cover dark circles to spots of all sizes. Absolute star!
Revlon Nearly Naked Powder
I always used to steer clear of powder - the thought now makes me shudder - as I have such dry skin, using powder would only dry it out even more and would make it visible, the last thing I wanted. I don't use this everyday, as if my skin is quite dry as it is I'll skip this step however it's great to use to set my base make up.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer
I actually use this a contour rather than a bronzer, and it's just the most perfect matte brown that would suit every skin tone.
MAC Pro Longwear Blusher in Blush All Day
A beautiful matte blush in a natural rose tone that is perfect for everyday where. Since buying this in New York I haven't used another blush since!
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish highligher
I find this gives such a lovely natural highlight which can also be built up for a more intense look.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Taupe
This is amazing - my brows are quite full naturally and I only ever fill in the front to make them even and this does the job perfectly!
Benefit Roller Lash mascara
Roller Lash is definitely giving They're Real a run for it's money with the added bonus that it isn't such a mission to remove!
Benefit They're Real mascara
My beloved mascara, I'm now on my third bottle (is it a bottle?) of this, nothing quite gives my lashes the same effect!
This is my everyday make-up with the exception of eyeshadow - I'll either sweep a natural nude shade all over my lid or will use the gorgeous matte shades from my Naked 1 palette.

First try at KIKO make up
For my birthday two of my friends bought me some KIKO products, a brand I was yet to try. A store has recently opened up in Nottingham and I hadn't had a chance to go down and have a look so I was excited to finally see some of their products.

MAC LIPSTICK COLLECTION
Once upon a time I wrote this post, gushing over my first ever MAC lipstick (Pink Plaid). If anyone told me back then I would own 12 (eek!) in the next two years I don't think I would have believed them. But here I am, writing a post about my MAC lipstick collection!

BLEACH LONDON - Total Bleach and The Big Pink
I'm pretty sure every girl at some point has thought of dyeing their hair a crazy colour, from dip dying it blue, going a silvery grey or becoming a pastel haired queen. I acted on this growing temptation, and I now have pink hair! If you want to find out how I achieved this pink carry on reading...

That beautiful palette going by the name of Naked 3. Heard of it?
If you haven't seen or heard of the Naked 3 palette by Urban Decay, where have you been? This palette has been raved over by dozens of beauty bloggers, and after finally getting my hands on it, I can definitely see why. In all honesty, when it was first launched at the end of last year, eyeshadow wasn't really my thing. Oh how half a year can change things. My reason for not being a big eyeshadow wearer was due to my deep in-set eyes, and my lack of a clear visible crease. I used to get so frustrated with my eyes after watching make up tutorials, as all of the hard work and effort would never by visible when I opened my eyes. After getting so fed up, I decided to experiment more and began creating looks where the eyeshadow was still visible, as my eyes were my eyes and there was changing that. A few months ago my friend Maddie purchased the Naked 3 palette, and after drooling and cooing at the gorgeous colours, I decided that it was time to get this beauty in my life.

MAC Osbourne Collection - Kelly Yum Yum
I was so excited at the announcement of the MAC Osbourne collection, a collaboration with the fabulous Sharon and Kelly Osbourne. One particular item that caught my eye was the gorgeous hot pink lipstick in Kelly's range, Kelly Yum Yum. I'm not one to buy without swatching, especially with MAC's £16.50 price tag. My friend Maddie had tried to get some bits the day it was released online, however the items were all sold out by the time she got to the checkout, and I've heard a fair few others facing the same issue! I'd seen the collection was due to be released in stores on the 12th, so I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it in House of Fraser on the 11th! I asked one of the girls who was working if the collection was in stock and she said they were, although some things had already sold out. When she told me that Kelly Yum Yum was still in stock, I did the quickest swatch, like, ever!

Wow, I can't believe my last post was over a week ago - very sorry! I'm currently on study leave and have been revising for my exams so my blog has taken a temporary backseat. But fear not, I'll be back to normal in less than a month now! So, today I thought I'd tell you about my current skin care routine, tackling dry skin!

April Favourites 2014
I can't quite get my head around the fact that four whole months have been and gone this year. We are now in May. I don't really know how this is possible! Despite the months flying past at a scary rate, one of my favourite posts to do is my monthly favourites, so here's what I've been loving in April.

USA Beauty Haul
It's a given fact that a lot of make up products are cheaper in America than the UK. A friend of mine recently went on holiday to America (I was insanely jealous!) and I kindly asked if he could pick up a few products that were cheaper over there for me. And here's what I got!

Maybelline Baby Skin
Oh, Maybelline's Baby Skin. This has got to be one of the most talked about products in the bloggersphere. It's fair to compare it to Marmite (yes, I know that Marmite isn't a primer) - while some love it, others hate it. I'd seen a lot of people moan about this, some not liking the texture, others calling it greasy, to even some people breaking out after using it. However, amongst all these negative reviews, there were positive comments about it, with people often comparing it to Benefit's POREfessional. I already owned the POREfessional, and loved the results after using it, so when I saw comparisons to a product that was £7.99, compared to Benefit's £24.50, I was instantly intrigued.

FREE Eyeko lash curler in InStyle magazine!
One of my favourite things about magazines is some of the brilliant free gifts you get with them. I'm a huge fan of the free Nails Inc nail polish with Glamour magazine, and I'm often swayed with what the freebie is when deciding what magazine to buy. The other day I was scanning the magazine aisles looking for one to grab my eye and I couldn't believe it when I stumbled across a free Eyeko lash curler in InStyle magazine.

Beauty Haul
For ages now I've needed a good shop, especially for make up. Like most I normally have a ongoing wishlist but it got to the point where my basic make up was running out (yes, running out!) So, I finally went shopping! And here's what I got...

Garnier 24hr Hydrating Day Cream
If you've been reading my blog for a while now you'll probably know that I can't go a day without using a moisturiser on my face. With the warmer weather recently my skin hasn't been as dry as it is in colder months (hoorah!) and today I thought I'd share the brilliant moisturiser I'm currently using.

5 Pink Lips
I've decided to start a little series of 5 things, where I compare them, discuss them and maybe even have a little moan about them! I thought I'd give this a go and I'd love to hear what you think of them!
Today I thought I'd share 5 pink lipsticks that are currently in my collection - they're all different shades and finishes so you might find one you like the look of!
